Day 291: Legal Design Derby

I just learned about the Legal Design Derby hosted by the Duke Center on Law and Technology.

In this one-day workshop, teams of North Carolina law students use design thinking to explore, imagine, and create a way of improving upon an access to justice obstacle for legal services organizations in their state.

This is a great example of the kind of thing that law students and lawyers can do once they’re trained in the entrepreneurship method and mindset!

And congratulations to North Carolina Central University law students Tyra Hudson, Alexis Hurd, Kristen King, and A.J. Junious for taking home the grand prize at this year’s competition!
